The Government of Rio Grande do Sul decrees that the

Programme for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders – PPDDH/RS – is established, within the scope of the Secretariat for Justice and Human Rights – SJDH, observing the objectives, principles and guidelines of the National Policy for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders set out in Federal Decree No. 6.044 of 12 February 2007.
