The Government of Pernambuco decrees that the State Programme for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders (PEPDDH/PE) is established within the scope of the state of Pernambuco, the purpose of which is to adopt measures for the protection of people and entities whose rights are threatened as a result of their work in promoting or protecting human rights in the state.
