The Government of Pará decrees that the Programme for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders in the State of Pará (PPDDH/PA) is hereby created within the scope of the State Secretariat for Racial Equality and Human Rights (SEIRDH), with the aim of adopting measures for the protection and assistance of Human Rights Defenders threatened with death as a result of their work in the State of Pará.
