The Government of Bahia decrees that a State Commission, linked to the Department of Justice, Citizenship and Human Rights, shall be established for the purpose of collaborating with the management of the Programme for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders in the State of Bahia – PPDDH, which aims to adopt measures for the protection of persons and entities whose rights are threatened as a result of their work in the promotion or protection of human rights.
